Fuzzy Hashing is out!
Hello from the Digital Forensics Research Workshop in beautiful Lafeyette, Indiana. (Front page of today's newspaper: "Nettiquite: E-mail dos and don'ts").

I'm pleased to say that based on my paper, Identifying almost identical files using context triggered piecewise hashing, I am releasing a fuzzy hashing client, ssdeep under a Free software license. Check it out! Be the first kid on your (net)block to match similar but not identical documents! Get 'em while they're hot!

But of course! (I think this is also the first computer forensics paper ever to quote Abraham Lincoln and the Numa Numa song!)

Bah. The Numa Numa song is not actially quoted, only referenced by its official name. I don't think that counts.

Regardless, congrats! It looks great, and you should probably send a copy to the family.
